Py-491/492 Calendar

For Fall semester, 2004 the class will meet every Monday from 2-4:30. The first class will meet on Monday, August 30.

The calendar will be divided into three units..

The  the class will focus on the conditions that led to the rise of Nazism, the Holocaust and the perpetrators and victims.

The class will be meet for 14 sessions total and each unit will have for 4 classes except the last unit which will have 5 classes. 

The Three Units will be the rise of Nazism, The Holocaust and Liberation and Aftermath.

Unit One: August 30, Sept. 13, 20, 27.

Unit Two: Oct. 4, 11, 18, 25.

Unit Three: Nov. 1, 8, (no class on the 15th), 22, 29, Dec. 6.

Future classes will use the following sections for the specific content identified.

Unit One: The Nature of Prejudice, Movements and the Basic Constructs of the course. .

Unit Two: The Rise of Nazism and the Holocaust. .

Unit Three: The Civil Rights Movement and models for fighting prejudice and teaching tolerance.
